An overview of your treatment

ICAM is the first and only Clinic in the USA to offer this unique, body-friendly, integrated medical treatment option to patients facing the cancer challenge. Currently, our Clinic is equipped to offer treatment for localized breast, prostate and skin cancers.

SPDT is not a new idea. The fundamental concept was first introduced over 100 years ago, though not developed in its contemporary status until the 1990’s. Currently, SPDT is recognized as a viable, effective & safe treatment option for most types of cancer.

ICAM - Specific Protocols

Our patients ingest (sublingually) a specific, non-toxic, chlorophyll based supplement. All of the cells in the body absorb the supplement; we then wait 24-48 hours, after which time the healthy cells have eliminated the chlorophyll, however the chlorophyll stays within the cancer cells for a longer period of time.

We then begin the therapy using ultra sound at a very precise frequency which activates the chlorophyll. We then proceed the therapy using light at a very specific frequency that again activates this form of chlorophyll – the healthy cells, having eliminated the chlorophyll, remain unaffected, while cancer cells begin to react to the light and ultra sound. Just as in nature, the cancer cells take carbon dioxide and convert it into singlet oxygen – the oxygen then becomes a free radical and the cancer cells begin to die from excess oxygen. This is not unlike a highly targeted form of chemotherapy, however, without any of its negative side effects.

Supplements & Nutraceuticals
Our doctor may recommend or prescribe additional supplements and/or Nutraceuticals depending on the patients needs. Some of these may be obtained from our Clinic.

Hyperthermia
Hyperthermia is a type of treatment where your body temperature is raised (as similar to a sauna) to damage and kill cancer cells, or to make cancer cells more sensitive to the effects of treatment. It is known that heating areas of the body that contain a cancer, or heating the tumor itself, may help to kill cancer cells (cancer.gov). This treatment exposes the body tissue to high temperatures, between 40°-45°C (104º-113ºF), without harming surrounding healthy tissue.

Coffee Enema
Colon cleansing is highly regarded health practice for rejuvenation of the entire system; it has been used for thousands of years. Hippocrates taught these procedures in his health care system. The large intestine or colon is healed, rebuilt, and finally restored to its natural size, normal shape, and correct function.

Oxygen Therapy
Oxygen therapy has many therapeutic benefits. It is effective and beneficially effects every part of our bodies. Oxygen (o2), along with foods, are the primary nutrients that cells use to generate energy for all functions. This energy is produced through oxidation of the unhealthy cells. We may prescribe simple liquid oxygen throughout your treatment as it plays a significant role in maintaining your overall well-being and in regaining health from cancer and other chronic degenerative diseases.

Advantages of ICAM/SPDT
Treatment

ICAM SPDT treatments (and enhanced therapies) have minimal to no side effects and are body-friendly, non-toxic treatments, often providing immediate symptomatic relief. Patients may experience reduced pain/nausea as well as improvement in appetite. The treatment process is health enhancing and not detrimental to the patients health. Side effects are only due to cancer breakdown – the more cancer, the more side effects however these are very easily managed. A slight tingling of the skin & a mild feeling of fatigue are possible but not always present. If these side effects appear, they may be uncomfortable however they are very mild as compared to those experienced in other forms of treatment. SPDT has shown no evidence of long term damage. Even if cancer recurs, SPDT may be repeated as many times as required and still have full effect. There is no risk of disfigurement.

The treatment kills cancer cells, one by one in a layering manner; therefore, this treatment may take a while. We apply the therapies daily; initially over a two week period, and then depending on patient need, we will assess as to whether or not the patient is advised to continue treatment at our Clinic for a further 2-4 weeks or whether the patient is prescribed a home treatment program.

ICAM Home Treatment Program

Each patient requires assessment with regard treatment response. After the initial two weeks, our doctor will advise whether or not a home treatment program is an option. The patient is fully educated throughout the first two weeks of their treatment, in order for them to be able to continue treatment from the comfort of their own home. In the case of home treatment, the patient can purchase or lease an ultra sound machine, a near infra red light, chlorophyll supplement and other items from ICAM and will be monitored with weekly telephone consultations for the duration of their home treatment program. The home treatment program is not always advisable, but is an option is some cases.
